Reiki For the Dying

Reiki For the Dying

I do reiki for the dying. My journey, doing Reiki for the dying, started with my mother. She had been battling cancer for 25 years. We both knew she would not make it this time. That was about a year before my mother passed away. My mother passed away January 30, 2010. She passed almost to the date nine years after my father’s passing. Both my parents lost their battle to cancer.

I began doing  Reiki sessions with my mother, both in person and distant. This was how I found out she would not win her battle with cancer this time around. She was trying to let me know, in her own way, the doctors told her she did not have much time to live. My son was only 10 and was always with her. So she had to tell me in a roundabout way.

My advice to anyone who is thinking about doing Reiki for the dying, for me starting with my mother, was an exceptional learning experience. Doing Reiki for the dying for someone you love is not the easiest thing in the world. It was very eye opening for me. I learned so much, both on a spiritual and personal level.

Reiki for the dying is not to help heal the person. Reiki for the dying is to help relax the person. It helps raise their vibration and easies them along with the death process. I have done Reiki for the dying for many people over the past ten years. Each person honored me by letting me help them, by using Reiki for the dying. I am grateful to be able to do Reiki for the dying.  Each session taught me something new and amazing about the whole life cycle and the meaning of it.
