Meditation From Simple to Complex 

Meditation can be as simple or as complex as you would like it to be. The thing with meditation is there are millions upon millions of ways to meditate. There are many videos of guided meditations on YouTube. Some people meditate with their eyes open and others with their eyes close. Some people sit and meditate. Some people have a full ritual they go through when meditating. Meditation can be as simple or as complex as the individual wishes it to be. Each person must find his or her own way to meditate.

Meditation has a wide range from simple to complex. Many people meditate without realizing they are meditating. There are easy ways to meditate. You may not realize it, but you probably meditate. Have you ever zoned out when you were doing something? Well, zoning out is considered a simple form of meditation. A walk can be a meditation if you are pondering over something as you are walking, you are meditating.

There are many guided meditation CDs and videos out there.  Guided meditation is a good and easy way to meditate.  Guided meditation is good for beginners.  It walks you through the meditation process.

There are much more complex ways to meditate.  Think about the shaman in the sweat lodge who goes through a long ritual. He or she may go through a long cleansing process, deep breathing, saging, and other processes to meditate. Meditation can be as simple or as complex as you choose to make it.

Some people use candles, sage, incense, and crystals in their meditations.  People use colored candles, crystals, and incense to help have clearer visions or bring about their desires.  It all depends on the reason for the meditation.

Meditate in Ways that Work for You 

Meditate in a way that works for you. Finding your ways to meditate may not be easy, it is a trail and error type of thing. There are millions of ways to meditate. People can help you by explaining simple techniques. Gazing into the flame of a candle or at a body of water, are both simple meditation techniques. The bottom line is that you meditate in a way that works for you.   Discover for yourself what puts you in your own Zen.

Meditation can be as simple or as complex as you wish it to be.  Meditation can be as simple as taking a run and not thinking about anything. Meditation can be as complex as having a step-by-step ritual you follow.  It is up to each person how simple or complex the meditation.  Remember, it may take time, trial and error before you find the right way for you to meditate. Keep trying different ways and you will discover what works best for you.
